My experience at the Nike Art Gallery
It is one of my most memorable days, I am a lover of artwork and On stepping into this facility I felt love, the feeling you get when the love of your life finally agrees to date you. You are welcomed into the facility by giant-size sculptures and some metallic artworks made from scraps. The most iconic is the beautiful door that leads into the art gallery, which looks like those that you see in a palace or a Castle, a true display of Royalty. On entering the door, we were welcomed by the iconic Madam Nike herself. I quickly asked for a selfie and she was helpful in choosing the perfect spot for this once-in-a-lifetime selfie. She showed us around and gave some lectures about the artworks at Nike Art Gallery.
From the art on the wall to the paintings and sculptures, everything about the Nike Art Centre tells a story. Nike Art Gallery ensures it represents the three main tribes in Nigeria which are the Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba which expresses and displays our diverse cultural differences.
